Creative movement workshops for adults on Sundays in 2026:
25 January, February 15, March 15, April 19. 11am – 3pm (£120). £60 booking deposit, balance paid at first workshop.
These workshops are for those interested in exploring movement as a creative medium. We will explore playfully the body’s relationship to materials, to weather, to others. Using movement scores, responsive tasks and ways of witnessing to deepen into imaginal realms. Through drawing and writing we will record our impressions, on occasion we will spend time outside. My intention is to share practice with others in creative community, to begin 2026 moving and making together, whilst responding to the transition from winter to spring.
Mae’r gweithdai hyn ar gyfer y rhai sydd â diddordeb mewn archwilio symudiad fel cyfrwng creadigol. Byddwn yn archwilio perthynas y corff â deunyddiau, â thywydd, ag eraill yn chwareus. Gan ddefnyddio sgoriau symudiad, tasgau ymatebol a ffyrdd o dystio i ddyfnhau i fydoedd dychmygol. Trwy luniadu ac ysgrifennu byddwn yn cofnodi ein hargraffiadau, ac ar adegau byddwn yn treulio amser yn yr awyr agored. Fy mwriad yw rhannu ymarfer gydag eraill yn y gymuned greadigol, i ddechrau 2026 yn symud a chreu gyda’n gilydd, wrth ymateb i’r newid o’r gaeaf i’r gwanwyn.
Canolfan Llwynihirion Brynberian hall is a light and well resourced venue with underfloor heating. There is parking, a kitchen and the hall is spacious
Please be in touch with any questions, previous movement experience is useful, but not necessary, curiosity and the desire for shared creative community is the baseline.
